The SPIR STAR ID 3/4 High Pressure Hose is a 2,000 bar (29,000 psi) hose with a 3.4 mm bore. Its POM core is reinforced by four layers of high-tensile steel wire and protected by a grey polyamide cover.
This Series B hose is designed for waterjet equipment, pressure test systems, and hydraulic tools. Equipment manufacturers and maintenance buyers can select it by catalog model, then specify the end fittings and final length for their installation.

The working pressure applies to the hose body itself. The manufacturer states that the fittings may reduce the allowable working pressure of the finished assembly. Use the confirmed assembly rating when specifying the pipeline for operation.
Series B Fitting Options
When ordering a finished assembly, specify each end separately. The Type 3/4 data sheet lists the following inserts:

LH indicates a left-hand thread. For replacement orders, provide the existing part numbers or dimensional drawings for both mating connections. For new assemblies, provide the required threads and sealing interfaces so that the fitting combination can be confirmed.
Waterjet, Tube Cleaning, and Hydraulic Applications
Heat exchanger tube cleaning. Check the tube opening against the maximum outer diameter of the assembly that needs to pass through. The hose body has an outer diameter of 8 mm, while the sleeve has a listed outer diameter of 12.1 mm. Please include the nozzle dimensions and any protective coverings in the review.
Waterjet cutting and hydrodemolition. Type 3/4 is listed for use in ultra-high-pressure waterjet applications. Please provide the equipment interface, required flow rate, and hose length so that the assembly can be verified against the working conditions.
Pressure testing and hydraulic tools. Listed applications include valve and tool test equipment, control panels, instrumentation, and hydraulic jacks. Please provide the working medium, temperature, and pressure cycle to confirm the configuration for your equipment.
Dimensions to Include in the Assembly Drawing
Use the 110 mm listed bend radius when designing the pipeline route, especially where the hose passes through an enclosure or moves with the equipment. The data sheet also lists protective hoses and securing grip combinations. If specified, please include their dimensions in the layout.
Separately record the 3.4 mm hose inner diameter and the 2 mm insert inner diameter. If flow rate is a critical factor, provide the required flow rate, total assembly length, and selected fittings.
