This hydraulic power unit (HPU) supplies hydraulic oil to equipment that needs several pressure circuits from one package. It integrates the motor, pumps, valve assemblies, oil reservoir, cooling, filtration, and controls. The listed configuration supports multiple high- and low-pressure outlets and a maximum working pressure of 20,000 psi.

The HPU is available in different pressure classes and can be configured for oil and gas, marine, and aerospace equipment projects. For a custom build, provide the working pressure and flow required at each outlet so the package can be sized for the actual duty.

Specify Each Outlet by Its Duty

Start with the equipment connected to each outlet. List the required pressure, flow, and operating sequence. If several circuits run at the same time, identify which ones and how long they operate together. This helps define pump capacity, valve selection, and cooling requirements.

A large-capacity accumulator bank is available as an option. If the project calls for stored hydraulic energy, specify the required reserve volume and pressure range when requesting a quote.

For offshore projects that also require an umbilical interface, review the topside umbilical termination assembly (TUTA).

HPU Technical Specifications

Confirm the pressure and flow rating for each outlet, along with the full-scale range used for the pressure control accuracy specification.

Variable Speed Control and Fault Diagnosis

The variable frequency drive adjusts motor speed. The PLC coordinates the controls, while sensors collect operating data to support fault diagnosis.

For an HPU that will connect to an existing control system, include the required signals, alarms, and operating sequences in the equipment specification. Agree which functions will be verified during acceptance testing.

The listed pressure circuit uses SPIR STAR tubing and valves and IHT high-pressure pumps. Confirm the final components and ratings in the bill of materials for your build.

Service Access and Lifting Arrangements

The listed construction includes a stainless steel frame, four lifting lugs, and hinged doors on four sides. The doors provide access for operation and maintenance. Review the installed footprint with the doors open and allow room for filter service, pipe connections, and component removal.

For offshore handling, request the lifting drawing and supporting records for the selected configuration. Include deck space, lifting restrictions, and connection locations in the project inquiry.

Project Standards and Certification

The specification sheet lists GB/T 21412.6-2018, ISO 13702, API RP 14C, and DNV 2.7-1 as project references. Agree which references and editions apply to the package during quotation.

The equipment sheet lists ATEX certification. Request the certificate and marking for the configuration being quoted. Where BV, DNV, or CCS classification is required, include the selected society, inspection requirements, and documentation scope in the request for quotation.

Request a Hydraulic Power Unit Quotation

Send the required pressure and flow for each outlet, the operating sequence, and the hydraulic oil specification. Include the electrical supply, ambient conditions, available footprint, and any accumulator or control interface requirements.

For offshore packages, attach the circuit diagram and project specification where available. State the required certification, acceptance tests, delivery destination, and target date so the quotation reflects the full supply scope.
